Facts about the Fiji Islands Group
The Fiji Islands are located in the tropical South Pacific Ocean. The Fiji group is made up of approximately 322 Islands, and over 500 smaller Islets. There are 106 Islands that are inhabited which shows the expanse of the country.
The two major Islands are
Viti Levu
and Vanua Levu. They are not only the biggest Islands but also account for the majority of the population. Another popular tourist destination is the Yasawa Group. Although I haven't actually travelled there I understand they are a spectacular group of Islands and are on my must do list. There is also a group of Islands off the West Coast of Viti Levu called the Mamanuca-i-ra Group. This group are within easy travelling distance from Nadi and feature a number of well known resorts. Taveuni is a reasonable size and located to the east of Vanua Levu. Another major group is the Lau Group. These Islands are located closest to the Tongan border. Most of these Islands are hard to access so are therefore not developed around the tourist industry.

As you can see it would take a long time to visit all of the 320+ Islands, but I guess there is no time like the present so why not start now and you might just do it.
